We did a balancing act, we had to explain how we got it.

We did some algebra, here is the equation we did :
4m-6-2m+2=m+2
2m-4=m+2
2m-4+4=m+2+4
2m=m+6
2m-m=m-m+6
m=6

4m-6-2m+2=m+2
2m-4=m+2
2x6-4=6+2
12-4=8
8=8

4w-10-w+2=w+4
3w-10+2=w+4
3w-8=w+4
3w-8-w=w+4-w
2w-8=4
2w-8+8=4+8
2w=12
2w/2=12/2
w=6
